On pourrait dire que beaucoup d&#8217;entre nous se sentent comme des funambules rat\u00e9s qui ont d\u00e9couvert qu&#8217;ils n&#8217;avaient pas le pouvoir d&#8217;attirer des milliers de personnes, qu&#8217;ils ne pouvaient pas faire beaucoup de conversations, qu&#8217;ils n&#8217;avaient pas les talents pour cr\u00e9er de belles liturgies, qu&#8217;ils n \u00ab \u00e9taient pas aussi populaires aupr\u00e8s des jeunes, des jeunes adultes ou des personnes \u00e2g\u00e9es qu&#8217;ils l&#8217;avaient esp\u00e9r\u00e9, et qu&#8217;ils n \u00bb \u00e9taient pas aussi capables de r\u00e9pondre aux besoins de leur peuple qu&#8217;ils l&#8217;avaient esp\u00e9r\u00e9.  <strong>Mais la plupart d&#8217;entre nous continuent \u00e0 penser que, dans l&#8217;id\u00e9al, nous aurions d\u00fb \u00eatre capables de tout faire et de le faire avec succ\u00e8s.<\/strong> Le vedettariat et l&#8217;h\u00e9ro\u00efsme individuel, qui sont des aspects si \u00e9vidents de notre soci\u00e9t\u00e9 comp\u00e9titive, ne sont pas du tout \u00e9trangers \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00c9glise.
