Il peut sembler h\u00e9ro\u00efque, voire romantique, de s&#8217;\u00e9puiser pour J\u00e9sus. En r\u00e9alit\u00e9, d&#8217;autres personnes sont impliqu\u00e9es dans nos accidents.  <\/li>\n<li>L&#8217;expression \u00ab sacrifice durable \u00bb est peut-\u00eatre au c\u0153ur de l&#8217;id\u00e9e &#8211; le genre de don de soi que Dieu nous permet de continuer \u00e0 donner jour apr\u00e8s jour.<\/li>\n<li>Le probl\u00e8me avec le fait d&#8217;\u00eatre fort et en bonne sant\u00e9, c&#8217;est que vous et moi commen\u00e7ons \u00e0 croire que nous sommes autre chose que de la poussi\u00e8re dans laquelle Dieu a temporairement insuffl\u00e9 le souffle de vie. Parce que je peux marcher, penser, parler et agir, je commence \u00e0 croire que je suis immortel &#8211; et que je pourrai toujours marcher, penser, parler et agir. Mais ce n&#8217;est pas le cas.  <\/li>\n<li>Un bon sommeil est un don gracieux de Dieu.<\/li>\n<li>Les nuits blanches \u00e9taient dues \u00e0 une d\u00e9pendance \u00e0 l&#8217;adr\u00e9naline qui commen\u00e7ait \u00e0 avoir des effets n\u00e9gatifs sur d&#8217;autres plans&#8230;<\/li>\n<li>\u00ab Nous, m\u00e9decins, dans le traitement des maladies nerveuses, sommes oblig\u00e9s de pr\u00e9voir des p\u00e9riodes de repos. Certaines de ces p\u00e9riodes sont, je crois, en retard d&#8217;un dimanche seulement \u00bb. Sir James Brown, The Times, 30 avril 1991 <\/li>\n<li>Dieu n&#8217;a pas besoin de jours de repos. Mais je ne suis pas Dieu et j&#8217;en ai besoin. <\/li>\n<li>La plupart des gens craquent parce qu&#8217;ils essaient de faire ce que Dieu n&#8217;a jamais voulu qu&#8217;ils fassent. Ils se d\u00e9truisent par leur ambition p\u00e9cheresse, tout comme l&#8217;ivrogne et le toxicomane. L&#8217;ambition les pousse.  <\/li>\n<li>Dans le monde des m\u00e9dias sociaux, certains d&#8217;entre nous ont beaucoup d&#8217;amis sur Facebook, mais tr\u00e8s peu, voire pas du tout, d&#8217;amiti\u00e9s profondes.<\/li>\n<li>Pensez aux choses qui vous \u00e9puisent et \u00e0 celles qui vous dynamisent. Essayez, dans la mesure du possible, d&#8217;inscrire dans l&#8217;agenda suffisamment de choses qui vous dynamisent pour que vos batteries \u00e9motionnelles, physiques, intellectuelles et relationnelles restent pleines. <\/li>\n<li>N\u00e9gliger le sommeil, les sabbats, les amiti\u00e9s et le renouvellement int\u00e9rieur n&#8217;est pas de l&#8217;h\u00e9ro\u00efsme mais de l&#8217;orgueil d\u00e9mesur\u00e9. C&#8217;est pr\u00e9tendre que je suis un ou deux niveaux au-dessus des membres normaux de la race humaine. <\/li>\n<li>Le minist\u00e8re de l \u00ab \u00c9vangile est un minist\u00e8re dans un monde en d\u00e9sordre. Et il y a de la gr\u00e2ce dans cette perturbation, car elle m&#8217;humilie.
