{"id":2560,"date":"2016-07-14T15:49:32","date_gmt":"2016-07-14T10:49:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pauljhudson.com\/se-preparer-pour-le-terrain\/"},"modified":"2016-07-14T15:49:32","modified_gmt":"2016-07-14T10:49:32","slug":"se-preparer-pour-le-terrain","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pauljhudson.com\/fr\/se-preparer-pour-le-terrain\/","title":{"rendered":"Se pr\u00e9parer pour le terrain"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Que dirais-je \u00e0 quelqu&#8217;un qui se pr\u00e9pare \u00e0 partir pour servir le Christ dans des missions interculturelles ? Voici quelques-unes des choses que je m&#8217;entends dire aux jeunes de SIM qui sont en phase d&#8217;orientation ou de formation : <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pr\u00e9parez-vous \u00e0 un marathon, pas \u00e0 un sprint. Les missions sont une exp\u00e9rience d&#8217;apprentissage qui s&#8217;\u00e9tend sur des ann\u00e9es, pas seulement sur des mois. Nous partons souvent avec l&#8217;espoir de changer les autres, mais nous oublions que nous avons aussi besoin de grandir et de changer de bien des fa\u00e7ons.  <\/li>\n<li>Ne n\u00e9gligez pas la langue. Prenez toutes les langues possibles. Un m\u00e9decin exp\u00e9riment\u00e9 en mission en \u00c9thiopie m&#8217;a dit \u00e0 la fin de sa carri\u00e8re : &#8220;Je pensais que je pourrais apprendre la langue en travaillant ; je me suis tromp\u00e9. Je suis s\u00fbr que j&#8217;ai perdu un certain nombre de patients simplement parce que je ne comprenais pas tout ce qu&#8217;ils disaient&#8221;. (En tant qu&#8217;interniste, je pense bien s\u00fbr que l&#8217;anamn\u00e8se est l&#8217;\u00e9l\u00e9ment le plus important de la rencontre avec le patient).  <\/li>\n<li>Ne soyez pas surpris par les d\u00e9fis de la vie interculturelle. Au cours de notre premier trimestre, nous avons \u00e9t\u00e9 victimes d&#8217;un cambriolage, de maladies physiques chez nous et nos enfants, d&#8217;un retard dans l&#8217;affectation, d&#8217;un conflit avec un autre \u00e9tudiant de l \u00ab \u00e9cole de langues qui a ensuite \u00e9t\u00e9 renvoy\u00e9 du terrain, sans compter les ajustements \u00e0 la vue, au bruit et \u00e0 la culture. Je l \u00bb \u00e9changerais contre quelque chose de plus facile ? Non ! Aurais-je pu mieux m&#8217;y pr\u00e9parer ? Oui, en revoyant mes attentes \u00e0 la baisse. Les m\u00e9decins comme moi ont tendance \u00e0 rechercher la perfection.      <\/li>\n<li>Suivez une formation interculturelle avant de partir.<\/li>\n<li>Apprenez \u00e0 aimer davantage les gens. Le minist\u00e8re est une question de relations. Regardez comment J\u00e9sus s&#8217;est occup\u00e9 de ceux qui l&#8217;entouraient. Il les observait, les \u00e9coutait, se liait d&#8217;amiti\u00e9 avec eux, vivait parmi eux, prenait soin d&#8217;eux et leur parlait de la parole de Dieu. Ce sont les personnes qui sont au centre du minist\u00e8re, et non les projets et les programmes eux-m\u00eames.    <\/li>\n<li>Acceptez vos dons et vos appels, mais aussi vos faiblesses. Dieu vous utilisera en tant qu&#8217;individu avec les forces qui sont les v\u00f4tres, mais il travaillera aussi sur vos faiblesses [qui vous appara\u00eetront plus clairement au fur et \u00e0 mesure que vous serez confront\u00e9 au stress et aux tensions de la vie interculturelle]. Quelle aventure ! Vivez dans sa gr\u00e2ce, et non par vos propres efforts.   <\/li>\n<li>Faites-vous des amis, non seulement des \u00e9trangers, mais aussi des habitants de la r\u00e9gion. Ces amiti\u00e9s vous seront pr\u00e9cieuses un jour et elles vous seront pr\u00e9cieuses. Trouvez un mentor parmi vos coll\u00e8gues, mais aussi parmi la population locale.  <\/li>\n<li>Restez proche de J\u00e9sus et de la Parole de Dieu. Ne n\u00e9gligez pas l \u00ab \u00c9criture, le sabbat et un \u00e9quilibre dans la vie entre le minist\u00e8re envers soi-m\u00eame, la famille et les autres. Il est \u00e9tonnant de constater \u00e0 quel point nous pouvons \u00eatre occup\u00e9s par le travail [comme nous sommes form\u00e9s \u00e0 le faire] et n\u00e9gliger la vie int\u00e9rieure de l \u00bb \u00e2me. &#8220;Veillez sur votre c\u0153ur en toute diligence, car c&#8217;est de lui que jaillissent les sources de la vie.   <\/li>\n<li>Appr\u00e9ciez le voyage.
