Chris Wright est le directeur international du Langham Partnership. Des relations de confiance soigneusement entretenues. Il nous encourage \u00e0 retrouver le style relationnel, partenarial et r\u00e9ciproque de l \u00ab \u00e9change missionnaire pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 dans le livre de 3 Jean, o\u00f9 les implanteurs d \u00bb \u00e9glises et les enseignants itin\u00e9rants devaient \u00eatre accueillis d’une mani\u00e8re digne de Dieu. <\/p>\n

Peut-\u00eatre que ce que nous avons le plus besoin d’apprendre, puisque nous l’oublions si facilement, c’est que la mission est et a toujours \u00e9t\u00e9 celle de Dieu avant d’\u00eatre la n\u00f4tre… Ce recentrage de la mission sur Dieu renverse notre obsession pour les plans de mission, les agendas, les objectifs, les strat\u00e9gies et les grands projets… Nous demandons “Quelle est la place de Dieu dans l’histoire de ma vie”, alors que la vraie question est “Quelle est la place de ma petite vie dans la grande histoire de la mission de Dieu”.<\/p>\n

Il termine par un appel \u00e0 revenir \u00e0 la Croix et \u00e0 r\u00e9apprendre sa gloire globale. \u00ab Il est vital que nous consid\u00e9rions la Croix comme un \u00e9l\u00e9ment central de tous les aspects de la mission holistique et biblique, c’est-\u00e0-dire de tout ce que nous faisons au nom de J\u00e9sus crucifi\u00e9 et ressuscit\u00e9. C’est une erreur, \u00e0 mon avis, de penser que si notre \u00e9vang\u00e9lisation doit \u00eatre centr\u00e9e sur la Croix (ce qui est bien s\u00fbr le cas), notre engagement social a un autre fondement ou une autre justification th\u00e9ologique \u00bb. <\/p>\n

Que fait Dieu dans votre r\u00e9gion du monde alors que nous nous dirigeons vers un mod\u00e8le de mission qui n’est pas seulement \u00ab de l’Ouest vers le reste \u00bb ? Au SIM, nous embrassons le leadership multiculturel, bien que nous ayons encore du chemin \u00e0 parcourir pour parvenir \u00e0 la vision que Chris Wright nous aide \u00e0 voir ici.
